WILDERNESS
Immerse yourself in the timeless tales and mystical allure of this primal wilderness that has captivated imaginations for centuries.
Legend has it that within these rugged mountains, a towering pillar of volcanic rock reaches towards the sky, standing at an impressive 25 meters in height. This colossal monument is said to be the petrified form of a giantess who once roamed these very slopes. As the first rays of the rising sun bathed her in golden light, she was forever transformed into stone, eternally bound to the landscape she once roamed.
For 3 days we will explore these storied mountains covered on white-powder snow with superjeep & snowshoes, allowing us to be transported to a realm where myth and reality intertwine. Traverse the same paths as those who came before, feeling the weight of history and folklore in every step. The legends woven into the fabric of Kerlingarfjöll carry the echoes of ancient wisdom.
